位於台東卑南鄉的富山海域，距離台東市區僅12公里，湛藍廣闊的大海、柔軟沙灘，以及令人驚嘆的珊瑚礁潮間帶，濃濃的熱帶風情讓這裡有「台版蘇美島」之稱。

富山海域早期漁類資源很豐富，十餘年前因過度漁撈，海域生態破壞殆盡，為了挽救因為過度捕撈而破壞的生態，富山海域在2005年設立了富山漁業資源保育區，讓魚類棲息地受到保護，恢復海洋生態，如今已成為全國海洋生態復育的模範生，更是東海岸的觀光熱點。

走在富山漁業資源保育區的生態步道上，享受台東太平洋的海風吹拂，捕捉寄居蟹的身影沙灘以及蟹蝦覓食的可愛畫面，相當療癒放鬆。
