Utopia Village Edge-of-Wall Underwater Reef Cam

Streaming 24/7 1 views this week Added JUL 2026

Utopia Village is located on the south shore of Utila, the smallest of the Bay Islands, off the northern coast of Honduras in the western Caribbean. It sits on a white sand and coral beach, surrounded by green jungle, turquoise waters and the beautiful Meso-American reef that comes right up to its shore. Before Covid-19 it was the #1-rated dive resort on Utila, but since then it has been refocused to be a permanent home for our staff and their families, as well as a base for local marine research and conservation efforts. This camera is installed 400 ft from shore at a depth of 30 ft at the edge of a reef wall that drops down 120 ft to the ocean floor.

This underwater camera captures the vibrant edge-of-wall ecosystem in real time, where the shallow coral reef meets the deep ocean. Watch for eagle rays, sharks, sea turtles, and countless tropical fish as they navigate the healthy coral formations. The steep wall below creates a unique habitat that attracts diverse pelagic and reef species. Visit EXPLORE.org to experience this and many other live nature cameras from around the world.
