位於舊臺9線上的華源曙光觀景台，是臺東沿岸觀海、看日出的新興景點。站在觀景台往外看，湛藍的太平洋不用說，還能看到優美的弧形海岸線，海浪打在沙灘上產生的浪花，配上前方植被的翠綠及天空的青藍，如同繪畫般的景色不禁令人如癡如醉。此外，由於觀景台就位在南迴鐵路及新臺9線上方，看著火車及來往的車輛從靜謐的海岸風情中火車呼嘯而過的景色，別有一般風味。華源曙光觀景台的另外一個特點就是零死角的絕美曙光，逐漸上升的太陽點亮深藍色的天空，在海面及空中撒上橘紅色的光采，令人感動的畫面現在利用即時影像也能隨時掌握，透過華源曙光觀景台即時影像，將所有美景盡收眼底！

Huayuan Sunrise Observation Deck, which is located on the Old Provincial Highway 9, only opened in 2021. It is an emerging scenic spot along the coast of Taitung for watching the sea and the sunrise. As the rising sun lights up the deep blue sky, rays of orange-red light are sprinkled on the sea surface and in the sky.
