South Pier Lighthouse Cam - Duluth Harbor

Streaming 24/7 1 views this week Added JUL 2026

This iteration of South Pier Lighthouse Cam started streaming on April 20, 2026

The South Pier Lighthouse Cam offers a front-row view from one of Duluth's most iconic landmarks at the entrance to the harbor. Watch ships pass between the piers, experience the ever-changing moods of Lake Superior, and take in the Lift Bridge, cityscape, and sunset as it fades across the Northland sky.

From calm summer mornings to powerful winter storms, this live view captures the rhythm of the lake and the life of the harbor—one moment at a time.

Based in Duluth, Minnesota, with several cameras on the roof of the Lake Superior Maritime Visitors' Center, Duluth Harbor Cam (DHC) is a joint effort made possible by the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association (LSMMA), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, other local organizations and businesses, and most importantly: viewers like you!

This live window to the Northland brings you scenery, sunrises, storms, and even people-watching along Duluth's waterfront, the region's tourism hub. Of particular interest are the ships traversing the cold waters of Lake Superior to visit the Twin Ports of Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin. Some of these ships come all the way from the ocean via the St. Lawrence Seaway, making Duluth-Superior one of the world's furthest-inland seaports. We hope you enjoy these sights and sounds and that they provide a calming respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
