Vancouver Harbour Live | Cruise Ships & Skyline

Experience Vancouver's waterfront in real time! This actively managed stream is on 24/7 and viewers may replay it up to 12 hours at any time.

This stream features live arrivals and departures of cruise ships with closeups of each one in the morning between 5am and 7:30am and in the afternoon from 3pm to 6pm.

When cruise ships are not moving, this stream will pan across Vancouver Harbour and zoom in and out on the harbour action.

Views include: Looking south at the container ship docks, with Tswwassen Ferry Terminal and Roberts Bank Superport in the distant background and the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State visible on very clear days; Canada Place, the cruise ship terminal, as well as the Harbour Centre lookout tower; The Seaplane terminal with Convention Centre on the left. On the pan out, the view stretches from the easternmost tip of Stanley Park on the right, to the towers under construction at Oakridge on the left, middle to far distance. Lions Gate Bridge is hidden behind a grove of tall Douglas Fir trees to the west. Also in the distant background on many of the shots are incoming and outgoing aircraft from the Vancouver International Airport.

During longer periods of low or no visibility, the camera pans out to include a 130 foot tall Douglas Fir tree across the street, and during stormy weather the swaying tree provides a good indication of wind speeds. The camera is a PTZ with 36X zoom for detailed cruise ship closeups during arrivals and departures.
