Times Square Ball Drop - New York

This live camera looks out over Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, where glass skyscrapers reflect the afternoon light and a large billboard counting down "7 Days Until Halloween" dominates the frame. Lit advertising screens and the busy urban streetscape give a clear sense of one of the world's most famous intersections. Viewers can watch the city's signature billboards and towers as the sky shifts toward evening, a preview of the crowds and lights for which the square is known.
