This live railfan camera captures freight and occasional passenger trains along the CSX Berkshire Subdivision near Mile Post 108 in Westfield, located in western Massachusetts about 100 miles west of Boston. The camera looks west over the historic rail line with views of the Westfield River to the left and a former New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad bridge (now a rail trail) visible in the distance. Expect to see roughly 15–20 trains per 24-hour period, primarily CSX freight consisting of general manifest mixed freight, intermodal stacks, autoracks, and tank loads. The Amtrak Lake Shore Limited occasionally passes through. Best viewing times are early morning and late evening, with Monday through Thursday typically busier than weekends.
