Jesup, Georgia – CSX & Amtrak Live Train Camera

Virtual Railfan's LIVE train cameras at the historic Amtrak Depot in Jesup, Georgia, overlook a busy CSX Transportation dual-track mainline and junction. Averaging approximately 30 daily trains, this layout is uniquely linked with Folkston and Waycross to form Virtual Railfan's "Southeast Georgia Triangle." This location offers an incredible perspective of freight traffic, intermodal movements, daily Amtrak passenger service, and the Norfolk Southern Brunswick District crossing the CSX Nahunta Subdivision to the north.

The current depot was built in 1903 by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad to replace an earlier Eastlake-style structure that had burned down. A combination passenger and freight depot, it served as the town's economic lifeline for decades. After surviving a devastating electrical fire in 2003, the depot was completely restored in 2012. Jesup is served only by Amtrak's Silver Meteor. Amtrak's Auto Train and The Floridian pass through but do not stop at Jesup.
