The Mare Island Osprey Cam is located on Mare Island, Vallejo California near Highway 37. The elevated nest frame and camera efforts were initiated by the "Friends of San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge" and realized with the help of Island Energy. The nest has been occupied since 2015.
Watch a nesting osprey pair raise their family on this elevated platform overlooking the San Pablo Bay wetlands and agricultural landscape. The camera captures the intimate moments of courtship, nest-building, egg incubation, and chick-rearing throughout the breeding season, offering a rare window into the life of these magnificent fish-hunting raptors in their natural coastal habitat.
