Since the Japanese Occupation, Fulong has been a famous beach. And today, it is still a lively place. For their beautiful views, Fulong's coasts are hailed as "golden coasts," while its crescent-shaped bridge across the coasts is praised as the "rainbow bridge." The river nearby is wide and smooth, suitable for sailing, canoeing and surfing. For the annually-held Fulong International Sand Sculpture Festival, sand artists from around the world make fine sculptures on Fulong Beach. The artworks are awe-inspiring and visitors, young and old, are encouraged to appreciate them. HO-HAI-YAN Gongliao Rock Festival draws those passionately in love with music and oceans to take part, filling Fulong Beach with endless youthful energy.
