Tennessee River Bridge – Bridgeport, AL

You're watching a live view from the Tennessee River bridge at Bridgeport, AL. A fantastic train watching spot. You are looking at the CSX Chattanooga Subdivision which also hosts Norfolk Southern trains that run between Chattanooga, TN and Sheffield, AL. The camera is on the 1896-built deck truss bridge that served the railroad 101 years before being replaced! After it was replaced, CSX would donate it to the City of Bridgeport and have it be converted into a walking bridge. A huge thank you goes out to the City of Bridgeport!

You are looking railroad south, towards Chattanooga, Tennessee. Behind the camera, goes to Sheffield, Alabama for NS, and Nashville, Tennessee for CSX. Our camera at the Bridgeport Depot is only 1/2 railroad north from here.
