This live feed shows real-time conditions at Hasaki Beach on the Pacific coast of Ibaraki Prefecture. A 400-meter research pier extends into the Kashima-nada, continuously monitoring seafloor topography changes since 1986 as part of Japan's maritime engineering research program.
