Black Swan Cam – Dawlish

Black Swan Cam is a joint venture by Dawlish Beach Cams and Dawlish Town Council to provide worldwide coverage of the Dawlish Black Swans. The camera can also move to focus on the weather, rough seas and any railway and shipping if needed. It's taken 12 months since the first meeting with the town councillors until the actual installation was complete.

Black Swan Cam is hosted by The Beach Bar in Dawlish.

The world's first dedicated black swan camera features a full HD point-tilt-zoom lens with 50x optical zoom, capturing live views of the iconic black swans and cygnets that inhabit Dawlish's waterfront. The camera also offers dynamic views of the brook, railway, and sea. The black swans have been a unique attraction to this Devon seaside town since 1906, when a local emigrant returned from New Zealand with a gift of swans that have captivated visitors worldwide ever since.
