Coral Garden – Kenting Nuclear Plant Intake Seabed Live

軟珊瑚的分布可能會依據當地的環境而有所不同，像是浪況、海流、溫度、光照強度和營養等。進水口由於有強力的抽水站，因此靠近站台的海流會比較強。這裡的環境適合外表較柔軟、能夠跟隨海流漂流的珊瑚生長；而在這裡生長的軟珊瑚名子就是柔軟指形軟珊瑚（Sinularia flexibilis）。因為牠們獨特的外型能夠抵抗強勁的海流，因此牠們獨佔了這個地點並衍伸成一大片草園般的景象。
