134高地位於金湖鎮夏興，緊鄰金門最高峰-太武山，擁有極佳的視野。戰爭時期，134高地為重要軍事據點。據點上有座閃光臺，當時會從臺上發出燈號傳送摩斯密碼，以此方式聯繫北碇、烈嶼、大膽島等周邊島嶼傳遞重要消息。
