π WELCOME TO THE AUTOMATED LIVE AMATEUR OBSERVATION STATION
Location: Northern Masovia, Poland (Approx. 53Β°N)
This is a 24/7 automated live monitoring system optimized for detecting upper atmospheric phenomena, cosmic debris, and space weather events. The station operates continuously to capture real-time data from the night sky.
π― PRIMARY OBSERVATION TARGETS:
β’ Noctilucent Clouds (NLC) β Mesospheric ice crystal detection active during the summer season.
β’ Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) β Real-time tracking of geomagnetic storm sub-storms and pillars along the northern horizon.
β’ Rocket Transits & Deorbitations β Monitoring live launch profiles, fuel dumps, and atmospheric re-entries / spacecraft deorbitations.
β’ Bolides & Meteors β Continuous video polling for major and minor meteor showers.
π LIVE TELEMETRY INTERFACE GUIDE (ALL TIMES IN LOCAL TIMEZONE):
β’ SUN ALT (Sun Altitude): Crucial for NLC hunters. Optimal mesospheric illumination occurs strictly when the Sun is positioned between -6.0Β° and -16.0Β° below the horizon.
β’ NLC WINDOW ACTIVE: The system automatically triggers a cyan alert when geometric and physical illumination criteria for checking Noctilucent Clouds are met.
β’ DUSK & DAWN PANELS: Displays real-time calculations for Civil, Nautical, and Astronomical twilights.
β’ MOON DATA: Shows current lunar phase, illumination percentage, and exact Rise (Rβ) / Set (Sβ) times.
π§ STATION HARDWARE & INFRASTRUCTURE:
β’ Imaging Systems: High-sensitivity low-light automated monitoring cameras.
β’ Core Engine: Custom-built automation integration scripts using computer vision pipelines.
Watch this live feed from Poland's northern sky to catch aurora activity, noctilucent clouds during summer twilight, meteor streaks, and satellite transits as they happen. The automated system continuously monitors the mesosphere and upper atmosphere, providing real-time alerts when conditions align for rare optical phenomena. Clear skies, and thank you for tuning in to the stream! If you spot any interesting transient events, feel free to drop the timestamp in the chat.
