Cribbage players welcome! Here are the rules for engine number cribbage:

Take the numbers on a single locomotive (ie. BNSF 6432) along with the "Cribbage Fifth Number" from the banner. First add combinations of the numbers together to total 15. Each combination which totals 15 is two points (6+4+3+2=15) Sets of the same number then count as two points for each pair. Examples would be UP 2844 worth two points, UP 4333 worth six points, UP 5555 worth ten points, etc. Finally a run of three consecutive numbers is worth three points ( example: 4, 3 and 2) and a run of four consecutive numbers is worth four points (example: 5, 4, 3 and 2) and a run of five worth five points. Add up sets, runs and 15's for a total score on that "hand". Use the "Cribbage Fifth Number" from the banner to make a hand of five cards. Enjoy!
