Welcome to our new live stream camera in Newport, MN! Situated just northeast of the historic Rock Island Swing Bridge on the east shore of the Mississippi River at mile marker 830.5, this setup includes two cameras: a fixed cam for constant views and a PTZ cam that dynamically moves to capture river traffic. This is our second Mississippi River camera, with the first located in Prescott, WI, focused primarily on the railroad. In contrast, Newport's camera is dedicated solely to river traffic, allowing you to see towboats and barges as they navigate the river.
