In 2016, with the support and encouragement of Osceola County Commissioner Cheryl Grieb, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), and the Osceola County Parks and Information Technology Departments, work began to establish a live camera at a Bald Eagle nest in Osceola County.
A well-known and easily accessible nest was selected at Brownie Wise Park on Tupperware Island Conservation Area to make this project a reality. This scenic and popular Osceola County park is located along the northern reaches of Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho) — within view of the County Courthouse and downtown Kissimmee, Florida.
Today, the camera provides a live, 24/7 view of our resident bald eagles, Starlight and Skyler, as they rebuild, hunt, and raise their young. Viewers from around the world can witness nature up close — from nest building to egg laying, hatching, and fledging season.
